The Adoption Law – Ready to Practice is available as an all day (6 hours CLE credit) or half day (3 hours CLE credit) seminar.

Parties, courts, jurisdiction, service and voluntary consents.

Relative, stepparent and adult adoption.
- 10:30 – 11:30am
Agency, DCS, and International Adoption.
- 11:30am – 1:00pm
Lunch on your own. There are many deli’s and restaurants within walking distance of Market Square.
- 1:00 – 4:00pm
Contested termination of parental rights, discovery, experts, evidence issues, intervenors, settlements, orders and appeals.
Adjourn to local Happy Hour (optional but fun).
Support staff may register for and attend this seminar along with their supervising attorney.
Important: Coppock on Tennessee Adoption Law 7th Edition is required material for the seminar and will be used heavily in class. Earlier editions are not a substitute. $170.00 retail, $149.00 with seminar registration.
Cancellation policy. Cancellations received 48 hours or more prior to the seminar will receive a full refund of the seminar cost. Cancellations within 48 hours of the seminar will receive credit for a future seminar. If a seminar is cancelled by Good Law, for reasons such as weather or illness of the presenter, the seminar will be promptly rescheduled. The registrant may attend the rescheduled seminar, transfer costs paid to another Good Law seminar or the seminar cost will be refunded. If you are registered and fail to cancel or attend, fees paid are not refundable.
